A Little Bit Ironic. . .

I had too chuckle this week when our fridge in the garage wasn't keeping things cold. So I called a repairman to come and look at it. Of course, it needed a new compressor which was $600. That is not what made me chuckle, but that it needed to be fixed. . .

the saga continues. . .

after remodeling our new home for the last 2 years, we left only three original things in the whole house. The fridge, the water heaters and the central vacumn. We had to replace one of the water heaters last month, because it just stopped working. The kids didn't have any hot water at all. It was a valve, but was cheaper to replace it than to fix it (or so they say). . .

about three weeks before that the central vacumn stopped working. There was no suction when it was turned on. So out came the repairman to fix it. It is pretty amazing to think that the last three things we left in this home all had to be repaired within a month. It just goes to prove that if you are remodeling a home, you best change out everything or it will have to be repaired. Hopefully, now that they are all in great shape and working order, we should be set. Remember, these are the little things we need to laugh about!
