The scouts did a service project and cleaned out a vacant lot in our neighborhood. There was a lot of trash, weeds and cement left there. They spent two morning cleaning it up. The funds that they earned paid for scout camp, so it was a project well worth while since the boys have to earn their own money.
It is good for the boys to get out and work hard anyway. A little sweat never hurt any boy. It looked great when they were done.
