Our friends Paula and Martin Hau were visiting from Canada during Conference week-end. Tom was one of the missionaries that baptized Paula and her family when he was on his mission in Toronto. She was only nine (Brittany's age) when he baptised her. It is amazing just how the gospel can touch our lives.
Tom and the kids enjoyed a visit with Paula when they were in Canada in August. So Tom talked them into coming out for a visit. They took him up on his offer and came out for 10 days. It was alot of fun to have them and they had never been to Utah. So they took advantage and saw so much of our state from Bear Lake down to St. George. They had a wonderful trip
One of our highlights was spending Sunday morning of Conference with them. It is always a little eye-opening to go with someone who has never been. They were amazed and really felt the spirit of being there with our Prophet and church leaders. It was quite an opportunity to take Brittany, Brandon and Danielle also. They have never been to a live session of conference. So we all enjoyed the day and our spirits were touched by being there.
