Brandon woke up this morning with a fever. He has had these funny red bumps for a couple days that turn into welts. We took him to insta-care, but they didn't know what it was, so we took him to the dermatologist to see if they could figure it out. He had a case of HIVES. The doctor told us that he is allergic to something, but it is very hard to figure out what the cause is usually. We just couldn't think of anything different that he has used or ate.
We gave him a medication to take for 10 days and see if that takes care of it. He has had quite a time with these big welts and we will be happy when this is all over. We can tell that he is not feeling well, because he just wants to lay down and sleep. It is a bit strange to not have him up and teasing.
He did get to stay home from school today. Being that he was so sick, he didn't even get out of bed. It will be nice when he get over this. . .GET WELL SOON, BRANDON!!!
