We had a couple of our neighbors over for dinner and family night this evening. Todd Whitman and his nephew, Justin. Justin is not a member of the church, but came to our ward the day Carlee gave her homecoming talk. He really enjoyed her talk on the atonement and wanted to visit with her longer. We invited them to dinner and had a family night lesson on the Nativity.
It was a wonderful evening and we enjoyed hearing about Todd's conversion to the church. He was a Baptist minister and was very anti mormon, but after many years of teasing missionariers and fighting against us, he finally came around and joined the church two years ago. He never expected to end up in Provo, Utah of all places. So we had a pretty entertaining evening listening to his stories.
All in all, it was a great time to spend with our neighbors and enjoying the holiday spirit.
