She had told us that she had 45 minutes to talk and wanted to talk to each of the kids and then to the rest of us. So when she called, it was so good to hear her voice. I really miss our chats on the phone.
Carlee called us about 2:00 pm.
We had forwarded the home phone to Tom's cell phone, because we were down in Nephi and didn't want to miss her call.
So she spent about 10 minutes with Brandon, Brittany and Danielle, and Ryan did tell her hello. Then we enjoyed talking to her, we three-wayed Grandpa Boyd and Grandma Merlene and they had a chance to visit. Then Grandpa Jim and Grandma Zoma and some of the Painter family that was at the house got to talk. Carlee enjoyed saying hello to everyone.
She is doing so well and loves being out on a mission. She says it is going too fast for her. She is learning alot about people and about herself. The Lord is blessing her and she wants to thank everyone for their prayers and support. And she wants to remind everyone that she never gets enough letters, ha ha :)!
She was at a member's home for Christmas dinner and they had free long-distance, so we got to talk with her for 1 1/2 hours. It was such a special Christmas gift, one of my favorites as a missionary mom. We have been so blessed having a missionary and Carlee has grown so much. It really just made the whole day!
All in all we had a pretty perfect Christmas Day!
