It was time for our annual Cub Scout Service Project. We were incharge of pack meeting, and decided to do a service project for the Food Bank again this year. They are in such need with so many families coming in.
They told us that 200 families come in there daily to get help. So we did 210 children's gift bags. It is a sack with toys, treats and a drink. The kids really enjoy doing this and it helps them know we are helping some children that will not have any Christmas otherwise.
Everyone enjoyed doing this and they asked us if we could do it again next year. One little family told us that it was their favorite part of Christmas. It is amazing what service does for all of us.
