We celebrated Christmas in July with our Sweet Grandma Zoma. She always has a themed Breakfast just for all the girls in the family. We enjoyed evel skivers, fruit, breakfast casserole.

She has given all the granddaughter's pieces of a nativity each year for Christmas and their birthday's since they turned twelve. So now that she is turning 80 this year, she gave all the girls their remaining pieces to finish out their nativity. The younger girls got the entire set all at once.
It has been such a special thing for her to do and the girls will have a treasured momento to always remember Grandma Zoma by.

Painter Family Reunion

July 18, 2010
We had the Painter Family Reunion at the Levan Park. It is always time treasured to spend it with our family. The kids make so many new memories with their cousins and just enjoy the day immensely.
We had a terrific pot luck dinner, games, water fights, pictures, playground and swings, relays, and a game the a Tom had put together about questions of things that had happened during their growing up years. Then we all had to guess which sibling it was. It was fun and we all had lots of laughs with many of the family memories.
These are times to treasure and remember. . .

Grandpa Jim and Grandma Zoma. . .
Ryan enjoying Uncle Kelly. . .
Old Fashion Relay Race. . .

The kids all love the old fashion relay that we do with their great-grandparents clothes. They have to put on great-grandma's dress, hat apron and then run down and change into great-grandpa's overalls tie and hat. They always have lots of laughs and giggles trying to get these on and off. It is a great way to remember our ancestors in a fun way.
It's Time To GET WET. . .

Brandon really had the upper hand in the water fight. He was the biggest and strongest one playing and, of course, he loves to get wet. So little chance did anyone have when Brandon was after them. They all got soaking wet but there were lots of laughing and smiles along the way.
The kids reaaly enjoy spending time with their cousins.
